Paige Fishel, LCSW

I am a psychotherapist and a holistically trained integrative nutrition and health coach.

I specialize in a holistic approach to emotional health that seeks to heal the whole person – mind, body and spirit. 

In addition to psychotherapy, I offer neurofeedback training and counseling on nutrition, sleep, exercise, meditation and the impact of environmental factors on emotional health and well-being.

I completed my graduate work at the Catholic University of America in 1998, and studied with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition to become a certified health coach in 2010. I have over 25 years of experience doing therapy with individuals, couples and families, and have integrated holistic services such as nutritional counseling into my practice for the past 14 years. I am now offering neurofeedback as an alternative and natural way to treat ADHD, anxiety and depression.

I believe the mind, body and spirit are intimately connected, and therefore cannot be treated as separate entities.

I see depression and anxiety as symptoms, rather than specific diseases with singular root causes. Just as a stomach ache or headache can be a symptom of hundreds of different ailments, depression can be a symptom of a number of emotional, physical and/or spiritual issues.

Your spirit, mind and body are often telling the same story in different ways, and it is my job to help you figure out what they are trying to say. You may be wondering what therapy is like, and how it all works.

Each person’s story is unique, and therefore each person’s healing journey will be specifically tailored to them alone. My approach is to create a safe environment where you will feel known and cared for, to ask the right questions, and to listen. As your story unfolds, I will provide support and practical feedback to help you gain insight into your relationship patterns and behaviors in order to effectively address your specific concerns and personal life challenges. With compassion and understanding, I will work with you to help build upon individual strengths to attain your best personal growth.
